The Mod Dog of the Month
Sorry everyone, I am still so behind on this, so don't think you didn't win if it's been months since you entered.
Name: Tank
Breed: Saint Bernard
Age: 3 Years
Collar: Dino Dog
Collar: Dino Dog
More About Tank: "I have had him since he was a puppy and he is very laid back and just an all around cool dog. His favorite thing to do is to run while I am on my roller blades and he aspires to one day catch the squirrels in our trees, he spends hours at the bottom of the tree gazing up in all hopes the squirrels will fall." -Kali
Tank's Favorite Things: "His favorite toy is the reason I bought this collar. He carries around a stuffed blue dino all the time, he uses it as a pillow when he sleeps, and he won't set it down for even a minute, he even carries it around when he is outside, just always hugging it and laying on top of it. We all laughed so hard when we put the collar on because it was so adorable to see such a massive dog in such a cute collar. " -Kali

The Mod Dog of the Month

Sorry everyone, I am so behind on this, so don't think you didn't win if it's been months since you entered.
Name: Friday
Breed: Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)
Age: 5 Years
Collar: Subway Window
Collar: Subway Window
More About Friday : "She is a rescue dog. I found her online through an agency that saves dogs from high-kill shelters in the South and brings them to New England to foster them while finding their forever homes. She had been abused and was found abandoned in Tennessee. Working dogs like Cattle Dogs frequently are found in shelters, as the original owners may not have known how much constant training/jobs these the dogs need. I am a single woman who works at home (I am an artist) and thought I would be the right candidate to become her new mom and offer her a safe place to live with lots of attention and lots of room to run on my property on Cape Cod. She came to me with plenty of issues, but with love and training, she has become the most important being I have ever been lucky enough to have in my life (I even built my house just for her, going as far as to set a dedication to her in the concrete just inside the front door.)." -Jennifer
Friday's Favorite Things: Her favorite toy is an elk antler chew toy. Her favorite treat is roasted squash skin (good for her too!)

April Newsletter
hi Everyone!
I have a lot of news to share with you about The Mod Dog.
As you can see The Mod Dog blog www.themoddogblog.com has just been totally made over by the amazing Danielle from The Design Girl Studio www.thedesigngirlblog.com. The new blog is much easier to navigate to see new collar styles, FAQs, dog pictures, and more. I've also just added few new ribbons to the New Styles Section, so please e-mail me at kyra@themoddog.com if you are interested in a custom order.
Secondly, The Mod Dog collars are now available at The Beehive in Atlanta, GA. The Beehive is a local boutique comprised of independent local and regional designers, so everything is handmade! It's a really cute shop! You can read more info about The Beehive here http://www.beehiveco-op.com/groupings/atlanta.asp
Finally, I will have a booth at Pawfest in Lawrenceville, GA at Rhodes Jordan Park on Saturday, May 8th. The festival will be from 10am-4pm, so bring your dogs for some fun activities and great shopping in the park. Admission is FREE! For more info check out www.gwinnetthumane.com
I would love to hear feedback from everyone about the new blog. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions about anything.
Thanks!
Kyra
